Matthew Bishop is the US Business Editor and New York Bureau Chief of The Economist. Mr. Bishop was previously the magazine’s London-based Business Editor. He co-founded and advises the #givingtuesday campaign and the Social Progress Index. He is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on the Role of Business.
Mr. Bishop is the author of several books. Most notably, Philanthrocapitalism, on the new movement that brings together the business and social sectors to solve some of the world’s most pressing problems.
